• Mark is a fully qualified driving instructor (ADI) and has taught hundreds of people of all ages to drive, working for two national driving schools before starting up his own school; Apollo Driving School, after a career in Export Sales Management.

Mark started his career in medical sales working in the pharmaceutical industry, driving some 50,000 miles per year before moving on eventually to selling medical equipment to over 70 countries.

• As well as the UK, Mark has lived in France, Switzerland and Algeria and has driven in many different countries. He has always had an interest in advanced driving and has a wealth of experience of how to drive on today's busy roads and what to expect elsewhere on the roads around the world.

As a parent of two teenage boys!( he taught them both to drive and pass their tests) and a career of meeting people, Mark has truly developed his "communication and people skills" both in listening, mentoring and guidance. You will find Marks' friendly, easy going attitude a calming influence in the car. Whilst at the same time insisting on attention to detail in getting things right!

• His current interests include Eco driving, learning to use less fuel in everyday driving - soon to become a requirement in the UK driving test.

• He has the perfect experience to guide you to driving confidently and safely in todays' busy high density city traffic to enjoying the freedom of winding rural roads of the remoter parts of the UK. Even when you go on a driving holiday overseas; Mark can help with the do's and don'ts on driving on the right side of the road.

Driving Instructors:
Due to our success in marketing and gaining new clients and their recommendations for Apollo Driving School, we are recruiting just one new approved driving instructor.(full or part time). Please note candidates must be able to demonstate a high standard of up-to-date ability of coaching and training in a climate where clients come first.

minimum requirements:
CRB check (when required by law)
must be an approved driving instructor (fully qualified) grade 4 or above
pay a small initial start up deposit
use your own teaching vehicle (dual controlled, ADI full insurance etc.)
accept pupils in Bristol postcodes and/or surrounding areas
maintain a professional image and be clean and presentable
maintain high standards of tuition and make every effort to promote and increase business levels, keep up to date with CPD.
be able to communicate by e-mail for the receipt of new client details
be a member of a recognised ADI professional body: eg; DIA, MSA, ADIFed
agree to the terms and conditions of our franchise agreement*
